The transcript is the draft, not the issue
Spoken language is not written language, and pasting a raw transcript into a newsletter is how you get an issue that reads like a voice memo. Expect to cut three things on every clip. The filler openers ("okay so", "look", "here is the thing"). The repetition, because on video you repeat the point to catch scrollers and in text that repetition just looks like padding. And the platform-specific asides ("comment below", "follow for part two"), which mean nothing in an inbox.
What survives is the good part: your actual argument, in your actual voice, with the examples you reached for instinctively while talking. That is usually 60 percent of the words and 100 percent of the value, and it is far easier to edit down than to write up.
Four clips into one issue
The pattern that works: convert the week's clips, drop each transcript under a Heading 2 in one draft, then write a two-paragraph framing at the top that explains what connects them. The result is a themed issue where each section already has a hook, because a TikTok that survived the algorithm opened with one. Subscribers who follow you on TikTok get a readable archive; subscribers who do not get content that never reached them.
Longer material folds in the same way. A podcast episode via YouTube to Markdown or a webinar recording via Video to Markdown produces the same Markdown, so a single draft can mix a 40 minute interview with four 40 second clips without any format wrangling.
Pasting into your email editor
Newsletter editors vary a lot in how much Markdown they accept on paste. Some convert headings and bold as the text arrives, others paste it literally, and a few strip formatting entirely. Test with one section before you paste the whole draft, and keep the .md download as your source of truth so a bad paste costs nothing. Everything happens in the browser: convert at TikTok Transcript, then copy or download and take it to your editor yourself. More on the repurposing loop in transcribing TikToks for repurposing.
