Refund Policy
Last updated: 12 April 2026In short: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. If you used fewer than 10% of your credits, we'll refund you in full — no questions asked.
1. Free Tier — Try Before You Buy
Every MDisBetter account starts with a free plan that includes 50 credits per month. This allows you to test all of our conversion tools — including PDF, audio, video, and URL conversion — before committing to a paid plan. We encourage you to make full use of the free tier to ensure the Service meets your needs before upgrading.
2. Your Statutory Rights (UK and EU/EEA Consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK) and the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, without needing to give a reason.
However, because MDisBetter is a digital service that begins immediately, at checkout we ask you to: (a) expressly consent to the Service beginning immediately, and (b) acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once credits are consumed. This is in accordance with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
If you did not provide this consent, or if you have not consumed any credits since subscribing, you retain the full 14-day statutory right to cancel and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, email us at mdisbetter.ai@gmail.com. No reason is required. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, to the original payment method.
3. 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you subscribe to a paid plan and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial subscription purchase, provided that you have consumed fewer than 10% of your plan's monthly credit allocation.
For reference, the 10% thresholds are:
- Starter (1,000 credits/month): fewer than 100 credits used
- Pro (30,000 credits/month): fewer than 3,000 credits used
- Business (150,000 credits/month): fewer than 15,000 credits used
This guarantee applies to your first subscription purchase. It does not apply to subsequent renewals (see Section 5).
4. How to Request a Refund
Email us at mdisbetter.ai@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund request" and include the email address associated with your account. You do not need to provide a reason. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe.
5. Renewal Charges
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. We will send you a reminder email before each renewal. If you no longer wish to be charged, you must cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from the "Manage subscription" button in your dashboard.
If you were charged for a renewal that you intended to cancel, contact us within 48 hours. We will issue a full refund for that renewal charge, provided you have not consumed any credits during the new billing period.
6. Top-Up Credits
Top-up credit purchases are non-refundable, as they are delivered instantly and available for immediate use. By purchasing top-up credits, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for that purchase.
7. Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the same 7-day satisfaction guarantee and statutory rights described above. After the 7-day period (and where the digital content exception applies), annual plans are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and your access will remain active until the end of the annual billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
8. Chargebacks
If you have an issue with a charge, please contact us first at mdisbetter.ai@gmail.com — we are committed to resolving billing disputes quickly and fairly. Filing a chargeback with your bank without first contacting us may result in account suspension while we investigate.
9. Exceptions and Abuse
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we detect abuse, such as repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds, or consuming a large volume of credits before requesting a refund. We may also grant refunds outside of the above policy at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.
10. If You're Not Satisfied With Our Response
If you believe we have not applied our refund policy correctly, or if your statutory rights have not been respected, you can:

- Contact your local Trading Standards office (UK consumers)
- Use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (EU/EEA consumers)
